MUSIC

I have been in the music industry since I was 14 playing a diverse range of music and instruments. Music has always been a passion of mine, especially enjoying country and country rock.

I met my wife through teaching guitar in my 20’s! After I had spent a year living in Rome, Italy where my band achieved a number 1 single in the charts!

I have played with name bands such as The Cufflinks and The Arrowes and I play a lot of 60’s pop. I played Country with Aron and the New Indianas, and Shootoo on the Midlands circuit.

I currently play electric and acoustic guitar, keyboards, harmonica and sing. I have top quality backing tracks for 60’s, 70’s and country solo gigs.

I play as Pat Carney and The Cufflinks (UK) with Les Carter and Ian Tandy (ex Cufflinks guitarist and drummer).

LIFE

I have always loved travelling, languages (I speak Italian, some French, dabble with Urdu, Spanish and German), my career was in teaching, mostly Physical Education and Games and I was a semi professional American Football player for years. I am still very energetic and now that I’m retired I put that energy into playing sports and working in the TV/Film industry!

Starting as an American Football player in a film called Grid Iron UK, then an extra in Vendetta (Danny Dyer) and featuring in a reality show on E4 with my daughter, called My Little Princess (a slapstick dating show where I (as a King) had to pick a suitor from the Princes lined up for a date with my daughter) I have now featured in many current music videos, TV shows and films, including, "Dad's Army", "Arthur and George", "Hunter's Prayer", "Detectorists" etc etc. More details to follow.
